Responsible for building, implementing and supporting all Microsoft Business Intelligence Solutions. Utilize experience in all stages of Business Development project work (requirements and logical design, physical design, implementation, testing and deployment). Perform SQL Queries & Data Analysis. Translate user requirements into applications based on .Net along with back-end database design. Enterprise Reporting Solutions using MS, BI Stack SSIS, SSAS and SSRS. Learn and understand existing business processes and identify areas for optimization.
Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations. Design Extract Transform and Load (ETL) strategies for data transfer between databases. Define programming requirement; formulate a detailed plan outlining steps to develop programs, using structured analysis and design. Write detailed requirements of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or enhance system functionality. Document the program development process, logic, coding and corrections. Create Test Plans and test data. Conduct and evaluate Unit Testing to verify correct implementation of program/Module Specification. Direct quality assurance and user acceptance testing by writing test plans and managing the execution of testing (Unit and UAT).
The requirements for the position are a Master’s degree in Computer Science; Information Technology; Computer Engineering; or related field, plus two years of experience in Business Intelligence implementation methodologies; database design or integration experience with SQL Server databases; knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices; ability to gather data, research and analyze problems to develop insightful solutions to address user needs and ability to create written materials to communicate effectively and summarize findings and support recommendations. Specific technical skills include: Relational Database and SQL Language; Extraction, Transformation and Loading (ETL) (Microsoft SSIS); Solution Design; Dimensional Modeling (Kimball Methodology); Analytics/OLAP Cube Development (Microsoft SSAS and MDX); Report Development (Microsoft SSRS);
